Global Project Manager
Type: Contract, w2 only
Duration: 12+ months
Location: Tucson, AZ, hybrid (2 days/week on-site)
Pay: $50/hr-$62/hr, DOE, all-inclusive

A world leader and innovator in tissue-based diagnostic solutions is seeking a Global Project Manager to support project execution within a dynamic, cross-functional environment. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of project planning and delivery, from initiation through completion. This includes managing scope, schedule, risk, and budget, as well as supporting teams and key stakeholders through the development and communication of integrated project plans.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project information to support project teams, Lifecycle Teams, and/or the Solutions Portfolio Committee for decision-making.
- Accountable for high-quality project implementation, including:
- Project risk management
- Critical path analysis
- Scenario creation and analysis
- Budget oversight
- Robust planning
- Identify and proactively communicate issues to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Create, coordinate, and maintain integrated project plans using Project & Portfolio Management tools.
- Identify gaps, bottlenecks, and potential delays; challenge assumptions and propose options to bring projects back on schedule.
- Manage preparation and facilitation of project milestone reviews.
- Organize and lead meetings, including setting agendas and preparing meeting minutes.
- Execute established project management processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in science, engineering, business administration, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management, product development, or related roles.
- Experience working in FDA-regulated environments and with Companion Diagnostics (CDx) programs.
- Proficiency in key project management areas: scope, budget, schedule, and risk.
- Advanced stakeholder management and facilitation skills; experience with third-party co-development partners.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Planisware, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
- Understanding of Design Control and/or Phased Development processes (preferred).
- Project management-specific training or certification such as PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, or SAFe (preferred).
